Happy Friday! What are your plans for this weekend? Last weekend I was at a wedding AND this weekend I’ll be at another wedding! With so many weddings and so little time, I’ve been trying to wear affordable yet cute pieces to all of these fun events.

So, I decided to browse the mall and came across a store called Steps New York. The wedding was actually Hawaiin themed and I luckily came across this amazing floral dress. The dark blue coloring with the pink floral patterning couldn’t have been more perfect. The “fit-and-flare” style, the v-neck, and the open back with criss-cross spaghetti straps were all extremely flattering. Overall it was such a flirty and girly piece – and it was under $40!!! It was such a steal I couldn’t resist 🙂

My dress made such a statement by itself that I styled it with my nude Sam Edelman heels. I love how well the ankle-strap pairs with the chunky block heel. It was comfortable enough for me to dance in and gave me just the right amount of height! For jewelry I opted out of wearing a necklace so that I wouldn’t draw attention away from my neckline. Instead I wore two of my David Yurman rings – one is the Wheaton Ring with Black Onyx and diamonds, the other is the Confetti Ring with Blue Topaz and Hampton Blue Topaz. I also wore my two Tiffany bracelets. The smaller beaded one is my accessory staple – I wear it everyday and everywhere I go. It’s a part of the Return to Tiffany collection and my boyfriend gave it to me for Valentine’s day! The other bracelet is also a part of the Return to Tiffany collection. It is the Heart Tag Toggle Bracelet and I love wearing it because it instantly dresses up any of my outfits!

Unfortunately Steps New York doesn’t have an online store to shop around, so I’ve linked three different dresses of similar style and pattern!

  1. Great post! I have been eyeing the Tiffany and co. Toggle bracelet but wanted a better idea of how it actually looks on someone wearing it. 🙂 thanks for sharing!
