How has everyone’s August been? I’ve been spending time with family on vacation here in Palm Beach so I’ve been a little bit unplugged. It’s refreshing but I am ready to get back to my blogging! So, let’s talk about this amazing “Garden Party” maxi dress by Free People. I was shopping one day right near Worth Avenue (aka the 5th Avenue of Palm Beach) and wandered into Rapunzel’s Closet. It is always one of my go-to stores whenever I’m down here because it is completely stocked with some of my favorite brands. Chaser LA, Citizens of Humanity, and Parker are just a few 😉 I came across this amazing dress in three different color combinations – wisteria, red, and black. I opted for the wisteria combo because I think it is the most versatile color scheme to carry me through spring, summer and fall!

This maxi has a stretchy smocked bodice and adjustable tie straps. It creates an effortless silhouette and is so lightweight/comfy! I seriously can’t get enough of it. You can dress it up with some wedges or down with some flats – either way it looks absolutely stunning! I’m petite and short (LOL) so I typically stay away from maxi dresses because they can swallow me up but this dress is not like that at all! It is so flattering and I can’t wait to style it in so many different ways. I’ve linked it directly to the Free People site below and I also found it for 40% off on Nordstrom’s website!! Because I was going to somewhere fancy for dinner, I styled this dress with my Free People Moody Mules. If you haven’t caught on by now, I kind of like Free People 😉 These shoes are almost completely sold out, but I found them on Nordstrom Rack and Dillard’s so shop fast!
